Dear Travelers!
Only a couple of years ago Siem Reap was a bit different... although there were travelers from all over the world climbing up and down at the millennium-old temple ruins of the Khmer Empire - it was still quite a
village.
Nowadays when you arrive at night and drive to your hotel you think you are in 'Little Las Vegas' - left and right along the airport road there are an ever-growing number of hotels. Surely it meanwhile has a wide variety enough to satisfy all tastes and
requirements!
AND: A swimming pool is a MUST - the hours between noon and 3 p.m. are spent best at the pool side or in a cool location...
Here are some of my favourite hotels, as usual all hand-selected!
You are always welcome to share with us your experience, just write to

Grand Hotel D’Angkor (5 Star Hotel)
It's the most elegant hotel in town and our US clients just love it. A fully restored 75 year old classic. Spa. Tennis.
Swimming pool. Restaurants. Bars. A variety of restaurants, cafés and pubs. Business center. Nightly traditional performances.
Victoria Angkor Hotel (Deluxe Hotel)
SRF 120 rooms/10 suites. Wooden floors, stylish furniture, fabrics and original decorative artifacts, most with balcony facing the swimming pool. Jacuzzi and spa. Restaurants and bars. Boutique. Business center. It's a very charming hotel and almost more of a Boutique Hotel.
The Meridien Hotel
When we arrived at night at the hotel, we thought we are in an Ice Palace, and didn’t have the feeling being in South East Asia. BUT it’s a real nice hotel, the swimming pool is just a dream, and the service is excellent!
Angkor Village Resort (First Class Hotel)
New, superior bungalow resort complex. Wooden duplex bungalows with tasteful furnishings, decor and amenities. Unique, 200 m long river-style swimming pool. Restaurant serving fine Indochinese cuisine.
Angkor Village (Superior Hotel)
Traditional wooden houses with all amenities in a manicured garden setting. Restaurant.
Swimming pool. Nightly traditional dance performances at Apsara Theater incl. Khmer cuisine.
